The mobile platform claims to achieve 11 per cent improved CPU performance.
Chip giant Qualcomm has announced its newest mid-range mobile processor, the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, which uses 4nm manufacturing process. Several Android phone makers including Realme, Oppo, and Honor plan to release devices featuring this processor in the near future.
“Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 will drive the next leap forward for smartphones in the mid-tier thanks to significant advancements in AI, gaming and photography,” Deepu John, Senior Director, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., said in a statement.
“This platform brings a new level of performance and power efficiency for users to enjoy virtually anywhere with ultra-fast 5G and Wi-Fi, enhancing their everyday activities whether playing, creating, or working," John added.
The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC aims to bring powerful performance,
extended battery life, and ultra-fast 5G connectivity, enhancing
gaming to productivity and everyday tasks.
The mobile platform claims to achieve new performance heights across the board, with 11 per cent improved CPU performance thanks to the latest Qualcomm Kryo CPU, up to 29 per cent better GPU performance with the Qualcomm Adreno GPU , and 12 per cent power savings to boost user experiences across the board.
