Rajiv Bajaj will steer the ship of Bajaj Auto for the next five years.
The Board of Directors at Bajaj Auto has approved Rajiv Bajaj's continuation as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bajaj Auto Private Limited for another five-year term starting April 1, 2025.
Rajiv Bajaj joined the company back in 1990 after he returned from the UK to finish his master's degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick. He joined the company at the shop floor level and worked there for three years. He gained valuable experience across various departments including Manufacturing and Supply Chain (1990-95), R&D and Engineering (1995-2000), and Marketing and Sales (2000-2005). Rajiv was appointed Managing Director in April 2005 and has served on the company's board since March 5, 2002.
