Range Rover Sport SV Launched in India at ₹2.05 Crore

Land Rover has expanded its high performance SUV portfolio with the launch of the new Range Rover Sport SV in India. Priced at ₹2.05 crore (ex-showroom), this new standard SV variant serves as the latest entry point into the exclusive SV lineup in the country.

This introduction follows a recent strategic price revision by the manufacturer, which saw costs for the flagship Range Rover SV and Sport SV models reduced after revisions to the India UK Free Trade Agreement.

The Range Rover Sport SV is engineered as the most performance oriented version of the SUV to date. It is powered by a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 mild hybrid petrol engine that delivers a formidable 626 bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque. This power is managed through an automatic gearbox and an advanced all wheel drive system.

According to JLR, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. To handle such high speeds, the SUV is equipped with 6D Dynamics suspension technology, which is designed to maintain stability by reducing pitch and body roll during spirited driving.

The new variant offers a bespoke paint palette featuring five exclusive shades available in gloss, matte, and satin finishes. These include Green Satin, Orange Matte, Blue Gloss, Violet Matte, and Teal Gloss. Visual highlights include 22-inch forged alloy wheels and a black contrast roof.

While the SV variant joins the lineup, JLR has also increased the prices of the standard Range Rover Sport HSE petrol and diesel variants by ₹2.23 lakh. Bookings for the new Sport SV are currently open, and deliveries are expected to begin in August 2026.
