The new flagship Range Rover model debuts an industry-first electrostatic audio technology.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has officially launched the flagship Range Rover SV Ultra in the Indian market, priced at ₹3.80 crore (ex-showroom). Positioned as the most luxurious and technologically advanced variant in the Range Rover lineup, the ultra-exclusive model introduces bespoke aesthetic finishes along with the world’s first automotive application of electrostatic audio technology.
The SV Electrostatic Sound system on this SUV integrates 21 ultra-lightweight, 1mm thick film transducers across winged headrests, seatbacks, and headlining locations. The electrostatic panels respond up to 1,000 times faster than traditional coil speakers, reducing weight and power draw by up to 90% while operating without rare earth elements. This audio tech works in tandem with five dedicated bass woofers, Body and Soul Seats (BASS), and a Sensory Haptic Floor across passenger footwells to deliver a full-body, immersive listening experience paired with six wellness programs.

Under the hood, the Range Rover SV Ultra is powered by a 524 bhp petrol mild-hybrid V8 engine. JLR India also confirmed that an all-electric version of the luxury SUV will join the lineup later in the year.
Visually, the SV Ultra debuts an exclusive Titan Silver exterior paint using fine aluminium flake technology to create a liquid-metal appearance, complemented by Satin Platinum Atlas and Silver Chrome accents alongside 23-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin features a leather-free sanctuary finished in duo-tone Orchid White and Cinder Grey Ultrafabrics, accented by laser-crafted mosaic seat patterns, open-pore rattan palm veneers, gloss white ceramic trim, and Kvadrat remix textile scatter cushions.
