Realme introduced its latest flagship smartphone, the GT 6, at a global launch event in Milan, Italy. Realme GT 6 marks the return of the GT series to international markets after more than a year. Here's everything you need to know about the Realme GT 6.
The Realme GT 6 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1264x2780 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Realme claims a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision playback. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
At the heart of the Realme GT 6 lies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, fabricated on a 4nm process. This is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The device also incorporates a cooling system, featuring a 10,014mm² 3D tempered dual VC setup to maintain optimal temperatures during intensive use like gaming. The GT 6 runs on Android 14 with Realme UI 5 out of the box. Realme promises four years of Android upgrades and security patches.
The Realme GT 6 comes with some new AI capabilities, which debuts with its NextAI system. It includes features such as AI Night Vision for improved low-light video recording, AI Smart Removal for quickly editing out unwanted objects from photos, and AI Smart Loop, which suggests apps based on on-screen content and user actions.
The rear camera setup is headlined by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.69 aperture. It is complemented by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto lens and an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera is housed in a punch-hole cutout.
The device has a 5,500mAh battery, supported by 120W fast charging. Realme claims the bundled SuperVOOC GaN adapter can charge the phone from 1% to 50% in 10 minutes and 100% in 26 minutes.
The Realme GT 6 is available for pre-order in India, with early bird discounts until June 24. Pricing starts at ₹40,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, ₹42,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and ₹44,999 for the 16GB/512GB option.
