Realme is set to introduce the GT 7 Pro in India, marking the debut of Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite (Snapdragon 8 Gen 4) chipset in the country.
According to industry insider Yogesh Brar, in partnership with Smartprix, the Realme GT 7 Pro is scheduled for a mid-November release and is expected to cost Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000.
The Realme GT 7 Pro will launch in China by the end of October, aligning with Qualcomm's unveiling of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip on October 22 at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii.
Leaked specifications reveal a device with a 6.7 or 6.8-inch Samsung-made 1.5K micro-quad-curve display and a 6,500 mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging.
The camera system includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
Additional features include IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance and Realme UI 6.0, which is based on Android 14. The phone is expected to incorporate AI-enhanced capabilities.
Apart from Realme, other manufacturers, including Xiaomi, OnePlus, and iQOO, will launch devices with the same chipset in the coming months.
