Christian Horner is the longest serving team principal on the F1 grid

Red Bull recently cleared its F1 team principal and CEO of Red Bull racing, Christian Horner, of any inappropriate behaviour. However, a Google Drive link containing details of the allegations and investigation initiated by Red Bull GmbH against Horner, who is 50, was leaked to many journalists, F1 team bosses, the FIA, and Formula One management. The investigation was led by an independent barrister. Red Bull announced on Wednesday that they had dismissed a complaint made by an unidentified female employee against Horner. Nevertheless, Horner and Red Bull have not shared the specifics of the complaint or the investigation's outcome.

Toto Wolff and Zak Brown, team bosses for Mercedes and McLaren, have criticised the investigation's result, citing a lack of transparency.

The released email stated, "You may find the attached materials interesting, given Red Bull's recent investigation and statements."

Horner has chosen not to comment on the situation, stating, "I won't respond to anonymous speculation. However, I want to reiterate that I have always denied these allegations. I respected and fully cooperated with the independent investigation at every stage. An independent specialist barrister conducted a thorough and fair investigation and dismissed the complaint. My focus remains on the upcoming season."

There are suggestions of a power struggle at Red Bull involving Horner. Since the death of Red Bull co-founder and former CEO Dietrich Mateschitz, the Red Bull F1 team division now reports to Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO of corporate projects and new investments at Red Bull GmbH. However, the Mateschitz family still owns a 49% stake in Red Bull, while the Thai ownership, reportedly siding with Horner, holds the controlling stake.

Media reports have varied regarding Horner and the complaint's nature. Some suggest Horner was asked to step down before the investigation but refused, maintaining his innocence.
