Reise says the overall construction of the new tyres has been tuned for touring riders who need confidence on highways, but also want some flexibility for occasional rough-road use.
Reise has introduced its new tourRad adventure touring tyre range in India, using an experiential ride from Mumbai to Lonavala to mark the launch. The company says the product has been developed as an 80:20 on-road/off-road block radial tyre, with a focus on stability, traction and confidence over long distances and mixed terrain.
Rather than relying on a conventional product announcement, Reise chose to showcase tourRad through an actual ride experience. Media participants tested the tyres across highways, fast sweepers and technical twisties, which the company believes better reflects how modern Indian riders use their motorcycles in everyday conditions. The format also underlined Reise’s emphasis on rider feedback and practical validation.
At its core, tourRad combines a radial rear tyre construction with a reinforced front tyre structure. According to Reise, this setup is intended to deliver a blend of high-speed stability, durability and predictable handling. The tyre also features a wider block tread pattern with broader grooves, which is meant to support traction on varied surfaces while improving water evacuation in wet conditions.

The tread design includes a rock-shaped pattern, giving the tyre a more rugged visual identity while also supporting off-road capability and durability. Reise says the overall construction has been tuned for touring riders who need confidence on highways, but also want some flexibility for occasional rough-road use.
Initially, tourRad will be available in multiple sizes for popular touring and adventure motorcycles in India. Reise says the range has been priced to cover both front and rear fitments, strengthening its appeal among riders looking for a premium touring-focused tyre option.
Reise has also highlighted braking performance for tourRad, citing controlled testing at NATRAX. In the company’s dry braking tests from 80–0 kmph, the tyre recorded a stopping distance of 65.20 metres. In wet braking tests from 60–0 kmph, it posted 39.53 metres. These figures are being presented as evidence of the tyre’s ability to perform consistently across changing road conditions.

The tyre’s technical package includes large cross-over centre blocks, wider lateral blocks, a cross-over groove design and a dual radii cavity profile. Reise says these elements are meant to improve traction, cornering confidence, water dispersion and contact patch optimisation. A zero-degree steel belt and stiff carcass structure further support dimensional stability and handling at higher speeds.
The launch of tourRad fits into Reise’s broader Reise Radials strategy, which aims to build a more comprehensive portfolio of radial tyres for distinct riding applications. Alongside products such as traceRad, the company is targeting the premium motorcycle tyre segment with purpose-built offerings for different riding styles.
