This is the fifth black colour option to be available with the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 badge.

When it comes to iconic badge names in the two-wheeler industry, there are very few motorcycles in India that can match the stature and pedigree of Royal Enfield’s Bullet. Moreso, its connection with the Indian armed forces over the years has become a major reason behind its iconic status. And probably to pay homage to that association and sentiment, Royal Enfield has silently introduced a new colour option with the current-gen Bullet 350 called Battalion Black.

What Is It?

To merely call it just another black colour option would not do justice to it. However, there is no difference in texture between the new black and the Standard Black colour option that was available before. When it comes to its aesthetic appeal, Royal Enfield has dialled it back by retrofitting the bike with the old tail light design that used to come with the last-gen UCE-Bullet 350 and 500. Consequently, with the change in the tail section, the Chennai-based manufacturer has also updated the seat and brought back the old single-piece seat design. Thus, retaining its iconic silhouette from before.

Any Other Changes?

None as such. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in Battalion Black continues with the same front section, and the pea-shooter exhaust design. Mechanically, it is powered by the same J-series 349 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm, sent to the rear wheel via the 5-speed gearbox. Unfortunately, with this renewed aesthetic, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is available with a single-channel ABS configuration only.

What’s The Price?

The new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in Battalion Black has been launched with an asking price of ₹1,74,875 which is almost ₹1,000 more expensive than the Military Silver Black colour option.
