Royal Enfield has launched the Bullet 650, carrying forward the 90-year legacy of the iconic Bullet nameplate. This launch brings a more powerful engine to the world’s longest-running production motorcycle series. First shown off at EICMA 2025, the Bullet 650 has been designed with multiple retro elements, blended with up-to-date technology. The company calls this a new chapter for its most enduring and recognisable model, while staying true to its British-Indian heritage.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 650 costs ₹3,64,856 (ex-showroom, Chennai), and is available at all authorised Royal Enfield dealerships across India.
As the most powerful expression of the classic Bullet silhouette, the new Bullet 650 has a parallel inline twin-cylinder 647.95cc engine, six-speed constant mesh gearbox, and light slipper clutch. It’s built around a tubular steel spine frame, and the company has used Showa suspension (41mm front forks with 120mm travel and twin-tube rear hydraulics with 112mm travel) for a steady ride across different road conditions. It also carries forward the Bullet 350’s 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, preserving the model’s classic, recognisable proportions.

A step-up bench seat allows for rider and passenger comfort. The company also promises that riders will get the Bullet’s classic upright riding posture, with its raised handlebars. Heritage design elements include the teardrop fuel tank, vintage winged badge and hand-painted pinstripes, casquette-mounted LED headlamp and“tiger-eye” pilot lamps. On the other hand, twin pea-shooter exhausts finished in chrome give the Bullet 650 a fresh identity, with a distinctive new exhaust note.
The bike has retro-style polished aluminium switchgear, rotary switches, and adjustable levers. An LCD display shows fuel level, gear position, and service reminders. There’s also a USB Type-C charging port for convenience.

The Bullet 650 is available in two colourways: Cannon Black and Battleship Blue.
In a statement, B Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd and CEO - Royal Enfield, said “For over nine decades, the Bullet has stood as a symbol of authenticity, resilience, and unmistakable character — defining Royal Enfield’s philosophy of pure motorcycling. With the all-new Royal Enfield Bullet 650, our approach was not to reinterpret the Bullet, but to elevate it with modernity and authenticity. Every element — from its proportions and silhouette to its stance and detailing — has been carefully evolved to retain the pure essence and character of the iconic machine, while seamlessly integrating the power and refinement of the parallel twin 650cc platform.”
