Royal Enfield has increased prices on the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 motorcycles in India for the new year. Both the retro bikes get a price of up to Rs 2,025, depending on the variant, while there are no changes to the mechanicals or colourways available. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet 350 remain one of the most popular choices from the manufacturer, with the 350 cc range making up for over 80 per cent of RE’s total volumes.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is the brand’s bestseller and is now priced from Rs 1.83 lakh, going up to Rs 2.18 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The Classic 350 continues to get multiple colour options, along with wire-spoke or alloy wheels, which determine the final price of the vehicle. Both the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Bullet 350 share the same underpinnings. The bikes draw power from the J-Series 349 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor with fuel injection. The engine produces 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, while paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bikes use telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear, while braking performance comes from disc brakes on the top trims with dual-channel ABS. The lower trims get a front disc brake and a drum brake at the rear, with single-channel ABS.
We must mention that the latest price hike on the Classic and Bullet 350 is marginal. The bikes received a significant price reduction of up to Rs 20,000 with the revision in the Good & Services Tax (GST) in September last year.
