This is the first bobber based on the brand’s J-series platform.

A few days prior to Motoverse 2024, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 has finally been revealed. Based on the same platform and architecture as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the new Goan differentiates itself by being a bobber derivative of the same, and with several vibrant hues, it is available.

Being the brand’s first proper 350 cc bobber off-shoot, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, as can be seen here, is available with a single-floating seat design. However, unlike the Jawa 42 Bobber and Perak (its immediate competitors), the new Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 has a provision for a detachable pillion seat as well, as envisaged by the manufacturer itself.

The short ape hangers can be swapped here

Moving beyond, the motorcycle’s visual appeal is instantly grabbed by those mini ape hangers, that make it like a proper American bagger. However, if you don’t like this stance Royal Enfield is also offering a lower handlebar as an aftermarket accessory. Despite sharing the frame and hardware components with the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the Goan Classic 350 has a lower seat height of 750 mm. The exhaust design has also been altered, instead of a peashooter, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 gets a slash cut end can.

Lastly, its 19-/16-inch wheel ride on tubeless spoke wheels (making it the only 350 cc RE to be available with it)combination further gives it a proper bobber stance. Coupled with those white-walled wheels and colour-matching spokes – the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 is one of those most colourful offerings from the marque to date. Speaking of which, there are four colours on offer here – Rave Red, Trip Teal, Purple Haze, and Shack Hack.

Feature-wise, the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350 gets the same analogue instrument cluster as the Classic 350 with the “Tripper Navigation” pod also available as standard here. And mechanically, it continues to be powered by the same 349 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20 bhp and 27 Nm, and the engine comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield has just unveiled the bike today in all its glory. Prices will be revealed later this week on November 23. Deliveries for the same is expected to commence from the end of this year.
