The new design colourway comes just a week before its launch on July 17

Recent Royal Enfield Guerilla spy shots give a glimpse of a stunning new yellow colourway. There has also been a digital 3D render offering a fresh look at the upcoming Guerrilla 450. The 3D render, created by TrippleLines, gives a full 360° view of the Guerrilla 450. It emphasises its sporty design which contrasts with the slightly bulkier, off-road-focused Himalayan 450.

But the real eye-catcher is the new yellow colour scheme. This variant has a bright yellow paint job specifically applied to the fuel tank and rear tail section. To add some extra flair, the fuel tank also features distinctive chequered-flag graphics.

The bold yellow pops against the blacked-out parts of the motorcycle, creating a striking contrast. This design choice differs from the previously leaked colour options (matte grey and dual-tone red-gold. The new colour extends to the front fender as well.

Royal Enfield is set to launch the Guerrilla 450 on July 17. Powering the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is expected to be the familiar 450cc Sherpa engine that propels its Himalayan 450 sibling. The liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit is likely to retain its current tuning, churning out 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch improved rear-wheel control during hard downshifts. While the exact electronic rider aids package remains under wraps, the Himalayan 450 does get two riding modes and ABS modes.

In a departure from its Royal Enfield Himalayan kin, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 adopts a more budget-friendly approach to its underpinnings. Replacing the Royal Enfield Himalayan's long-travel USD fork is a conventional telescopic unit with protective fork boots. This swap likely translates to a more affordable price tag for the street-focused Guerrilla. The subframe also gets a unique design, and the footpegs are repositioned further back compared to the Himalayan, hinting at a more aggressive riding posture. Here’s something that you might have come across about the Royal Enfield Himalayan’s frame.  While the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 sheds some off-road capability, it retains the functional rear brake light with integrated indicators from its adventure sibling.

Previous spy shots revealed the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres. Read more about them here. There are 2 variants and the suspension components differ. The body panels and all-LED lighting setup, including the integrated turn indicators are the same on both bikes. What differs is the instrument cluster. The base model adopts the familiar semi-digital unit from the Super Meteor 650, while the top-spec boasts the full-colour TFT display that debuted on the Himalayan 450. This advanced TFT unit boasts Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for integrated Google Maps navigation via the Royal Enfield app. While the Himalayan 450 has already showcased the engine's potential, it remains to be seen how Royal Enfield tunes it for the sportier Guerrilla 450. Stay tuned for our upcoming ride experience with the Guerrilla 450, where we'll spill all the juicy details!
