Royal Enfield will now offer its “Wingman” connected vehicle feature with the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450 as well. This new addition will keep riders more thoroughly informed about the bike’s health. They will also get the 24x7 backend support of Royal Enfield’s GRID team, plus the benefit of Live Tracking and Last Parked location. This information can be accessed through your smartphone via the RE app, which is available on Android and iOS devices. This feature can be activated by a telematic hardware device, which will be available as an add-on accessory with both the adventure and roadster bikes alike. It can be purchased through the configurator app.
Royal Enfield had already announced that the ‘Wingman’ feature would be available across its entire portfolio. Until now, only the Super Meteor 650 had this feature as standard. With the addition of the Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450, the tally for ‘Wingman’ compatible RE bikes is now up to 3.
Just like before, adding the “Wingman” feature to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Guerrilla 450 will also cost ₹6,500 extra. For reference, the Guerrilla 450 starts from ₹2.90 lakh and the Himalayan 450 starts from ₹3.41 lakh (both ex-showroom prices, Tamil Nadu).
