Royal Enfield has reached a significant milestone with the sale of its 3 millionth bike. This achievement marks a major landmark in the company's history. It also somewhat creates the impression of the growth of the company towards its position as a leading player in the global motorcycle market.
Royal Enfield has been in operation for over 120 years, with a rich legacy of producing high-quality, durable motorcycles. From its humble beginnings in Redditch, England, to its current status as a global brand from India, the company has seen a great spurt of growth in the past few years.

In CY2023, Royal Enfield sold 8,22,295 bikes, marking a 17 per cent year-on-year increase over CY2022's 7,03,156 units. Although it fell short of beating its best-ever annual sales of 837,669 units in CY2018 by 15,374 units, this achievement demonstrates the company's continued growth and popularity. In the first nine months of FY2024, Royal Enfield has sold 6,30,273 units, with three months remaining in the fiscal year.
With a presence in over 60 countries, Royal Enfield has established itself as a truly global brand. Its bikes are popular among riders of all ages and skill levels, from commuters and touring enthusiasts to off-road adventurers.

Royal Enfield is set to enter the electric motorcycle market with its first EV model, expected to launch in early 2026. This is a major move for Royal Enfield's EV journey, following its strategic investment in Spanish EV company Stark Future.
