This year, the theme is “Y3K”, which will ask contestants and artists to envision motorcycles and riding in 3000 AD.
Royal Enfield is back with its #ArtofMotorcycling creative competition and this time it is in its fourth season. Taking the competition to new heights, this year's edition is dubbed "Y3K," and invited artists have been asked to envision motorcycling in the year 3000 – thus exploring the exciting intersection of human passion, advanced technology, and the timeless pursuit of two-wheeled freedom.
Moreover, Royal Enfield has also expanded beyond its origins, and the contest now welcomes participants from eleven countries across Asia, Oceania, and Latin America. This broader reach is aimed at celebrating motorcycle culture on an international scale. The Y3K theme challenges artists to imagine otherworldly rides through uncharted galaxies and terrains, pushing the boundaries of what motorcycling might become in the distant future.

In an effort to embrace diverse artistic talents, Royal Enfield has introduced four submission categories: Gen AI, Digital Art, Handcrafted, and the newly added Comic Art. This last category offers a unique opportunity for artists to tell sequential stories that capture the essence of motorcycling adventures.
A panel of renowned creative professionals will judge the entries, including experiential designer Aaquib Wani, animation filmmaker Debjyoti Saha, manga artist Haruka Satonaka, and multimedia storyteller Varun Gupta. Regional juries will also lend their expertise to the selection process, ensuring a well-rounded evaluation of the submissions.

The contest doesn't just offer exposure – it comes with exciting prizes. Eight top designers will win an all-expenses-paid trip to Royal Enfield's Motoverse event, where their artwork will be showcased on exclusive apparel. Winners will also have the chance to share their stories on The Royal Enfield - Ride Pure Podcast. For comic artists, there's an additional opportunity to collaborate with Royal Enfield on special projects too.
