Surprisingly, the bobber slots below the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 pricing-wise in the US.
After its official launch in India in early 2024, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has now made its way to North American shores. The 650 cc bobber has been launched in the States at $6,899 (i.e. ₹5.75 lakh as per current exchange rates, without taxes).
Interestingly, unlike India, the Shotgun slots below the Super Meteor 650 (starting ex-showroom price - $6,999) and above the Interceptor 650 (starting ex-showroom price - $6,849) and Continental 650(starting ex-showroom price - $6,349). Given the bobber would stand a better chance with the hipster buyer as well as the customiser in developed markets, this strategy seems to have been adopted.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 will be available with the same four colour options – Stencil White, Sheet Metal Grey, Drill Green, and Plasma Blue – in the US market. Mechanically, it will continue to equip the parallel-twin engine in the same state of tune (46.80 bhp and 52.3 Nm), and the hardware components have also remained unchanged for the US market.

Alongside the introduction of the Shotgun 650 in the USA, Royal Enfield has also launched a slew of new updates with the roadster Interceptor 650 and cafe racer Continental GT650. These updates are on the same lines as the brand introduced with the India-spec models in March 2023. This includes updated gear switches with a brushed aluminium finish, a more comfortable seat with redesigned mesh and foam saddle, new alloy wheels, new colour options, and LED headlights.
