Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Launch Date Revealed in India

The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in India has been revealed. Amazon has created a promotional page for the phone, indicating that it will be launched on October 4. This new fan edition phone by Samsung will have a similar epic tagline to the flagship S series of smartphones.

Samsung India has also released a teaser for the Galaxy Tab 9 FE, along with an image showcasing the "new epic" tagline. Additionally, there are rumours of a FE version of the Galaxy Buds being released alongside the S23 FE.

The S23 FE will feature a 6.4-inch 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED display, with options for 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 25-watt charging. The choice of chipset for this budget flagship smartphone is still uncertain. Initially, it was believed to be the three-year-old Snapdragon 888 processor, but it is now speculated to be the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Samsung's own Exynos 2200 chipset, which is also the foundation of the Pixel 7's Tensor G2 chip.

The phone is expected to have a 10-megapixel selfie camera, as well as a triple camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary OIS camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel camera for wide-angle shots. Leaked images have also revealed four colour options for the device.

Pricing wise, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be priced under ₹50,000.
