Samsung has launched the Galaxy Fit 3, its newest fitness tracker, bringing advanced health-monitoring technology to the affordable wearable segment. The Galaxy Fit 3 features a larger 1.6-inch AMOLED display that is 45% wider than its predecessor for easier access to workout and wellness stats.
Weighing 25 grams, the Galaxy Fit 3 has an aluminium unibody design that can last up to 13 days on a single charge, thanks to its 208 mAh battery. The fitness tracker comes in Gray, Silver and Pink Gold colours.
The key highlight of the Galaxy Fit 3 is its comprehensive health and fitness tracking abilities, which support over 100 workout modes and automatically detect activities like walking, running, and cycling. Sleep patterns, heart rate, stress levels, and blood oxygen saturation can also be monitored with Fit 3.
For the first time, the Galaxy Fit 3 introduces safety features like Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. When a fall is detected, the user will get an alert to contact emergency services. SOS can be triggered by pressing the side button five times to share the location with emergency contacts.
Commenting on the launch, Aditya Babbar, Senior Director, MX Business, Samsung India, said, "As our newest fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit3 underscores our commitment to providing accessible resources that encourage everyday wellness and inspire everyone to work on their best self."
The Galaxy Fit 3 will be available from February 23 across Samsung.com, retail stores and major e-commerce platforms. It is priced at Rs 4,999 with launch offers like Rs 500 cashback on leading banks. With this new launch, Samsung aims to strengthen its position in the growing smart fitness band market in India.
