Samsung To Bring Galaxy AI to Phones with Live Translate Call & more

Samsung has announced the upcoming launch of Galaxy AI, a new mobile AI experience that will transform how people use their smartphones. Powered by on-device and cloud-based AI capabilities, Galaxy AI aims to make everyday mobile experiences smarter, easier and more personalized. Galaxy AI is set for an early 2023 launch on new Galaxy devices.

One anticipated Galaxy AI feature is AI Live Translate Call, which will provide real-time audio and text translations during phone calls. Integrated seamlessly into the native call, the AI Live Translate Call feature eliminates the need for third-party translation apps and makes communicating across language barriers seamless.

Earlier this week, Samsung announced the launch of Bixby Text Call for its users in India. It's an AI-powered feature that allows users to have their phone conversations automatically transcribed and translated in real time.

The Bixby Text Call feature will let Galaxy device owners have Bixby's AI voice assistant handle incoming calls. Users can respond to callers by typing or selecting quick response messages, which Bixby will then read aloud to the caller.
