Positioned as the top-tier variant in the Elroq lineup, the RS model shares technology with the larger Enyaq EV.
Skoda has introduced the Elroq RS, an all-electric SUV that expands its RS family of performance-oriented models. Positioned as the top-tier variant in the Elroq lineup, the RS model shares technology with the larger Enyaq EV, and is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, producing a combined output of 335 bhp. This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.4 seconds. Despite its focus on performance, the SUV maintains an impressive driving range of up to 550 km (WLTP). The power is sourced from an 84 kWh battery, which supports DC fast charging from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 26 minutes. For home charging, an 11 kW AC charger can fully replenish the battery in approximately 8 hours.
Setting itself apart from other Elroq variants, the RS model features an adaptive DCC chassis that balances sporty handling with ride comfort. The chassis offers multiple driving modes to tailor the experience to different driving conditions. The braking system is enhanced with reinforced brakes that resist overheating, with distinctive red-painted two-piston callipers adding a sporty aesthetic.
The Elroq RS adopts a bold and aggressive design language typical of Skoda's RS models. Red-painted brake callipers are visible behind aerodynamic wheels, available in sizes up to 21 inches. The front and rear bumpers are sculpted, with a reflective strip spanning the entire width of the rear. Signature RS Mamba Green is offered as a standout colour option, alongside a selection of other shades. Black exterior details, including window trims, roof rails, mirror caps, and Skoda lettering, further emphasize the model’s sporty appeal. The glossy black Tech-Deck Face grille completes the dynamic exterior.
Inside, the Elroq RS continues its performance-inspired theme with an RS Lounge interior featuring sporty seats with integrated headrests for enhanced support. These seats are upholstered in Suedia and include heating and a massage function (for the passenger with the Maxx package). The predominantly black interior is accented with carbon-look trim, RS-exclusive lime green stitching, and a three-spoke sports steering wheel.
The vehicle is also equipped with modern technology to enhance convenience and safety. A 5-inch digital cockpit provides essential driving information, while a 13-inch infotainment display serves as the central control hub. Additionally, the head-up display with augmented reality projects key driving data onto the windshield, allowing drivers to stay focused on the road.
Despite its performance focus, the Elroq RS retains Skoda’s reputation for practicality. The SUV offers a 470-litre trunk, which expands to 1,580 litres when the rear seats are folded. A virtual pedal enables hands-free boot opening, and a QR code inside the trunk links to a video guide explaining the car’s features.
The big question remains—will the Elroq RS make it to India? Given that the standard version was showcased at the 2025 Auto Expo, its arrival seems more a matter of ‘when’ than ‘if.’ However, whether Škoda Auto India will bring this high-performance RS trim remains to be seen—but it’s certainly one we’d love to see on our roads.
