Skoda Auto India has reopened the bookings for its flagship Skoda Kodiaq 4x4 in the country as well as revised the prices for the Style, Sportline, and L&K trims. Moreover, the company has also increased the allocation for India to 750 units for each quarter, citing high demand for the large SUV. The 7-seat SUV is now compliant with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, and it claims to deliver higher returns on efficiency.
Models | Prices |
Kodiaq Style | Rs. 37.99 lakh |
Rs. 39.39 lakh | |
Rs. 41.39 lakh |
Petr Šolc, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, “The increased allocation will ensure that the Kodiaq can now be enjoyed by more SUV customers who demand the best there is in terms of safety, luxury, and value with off-road ability.”
For 2023, the Skoda Kodiaq brings forward its 2.0 TSI EVO engine but adapts it to newer emission norms, making it 4.2 per cent more efficient than before. It still develops 188 bhp and 320 Nm, allowing acceleration to 100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds. With the update, the SUV also receives door-edge protectors, a redesigned rear spoiler with additional finlets, and a lounge step for the second-row passengers.
Then there is also the introduction of the 12-way adjustable electric seats in the front with in-built cooling and heating in the L&K trim. Additionally, the Kodiaq also receives USB-C ports for the front and rear passengers, wireless phone charging, and support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
