Skoda Auto India has updated both its Slavia and Kushaq for 2024, adding 6 airbags as a standard part of the equipment list across its variants. The prices for the 2024 Skoda Slavia now start at ₹ 11.63 lakh – ₹ 18.83 lakh (ex-showroom, India) while the 2024 Skoda Kushaq is available between ₹ 11.99 lakh- ₹ 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Built on the MQB-AO-IN platform, both the Skoda Slavia and the Kushaq hold a 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test results for both adult and child occupant protection, under the new stringent norms.

Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India said, “As part of our MY24 updates we now offer six airbags across all variants of the Kushaq and Slavia. We are always listening to our customers and shall continue to provide relevant upgrades and significant product actions within our product portfolio and our variant line-up.”
Skoda Auto India offers the Slavia and Kushaq in 3 trims- Active, Ambition, and Style, available in turbo petrol options- a 1.0-litre and a 1.5-litre, coupled to either a manual or a DSG transmission. The smaller turbo petrol develops 113 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque, while the larger displacement turbo churns out 148 bhp and 250 Nm.

In terms of safety, both the Kushaq and the Slavia feature driver/passenger airbags, side airbags, and curtain airbags across the entire trim levels. Additionally, the cars now come standard with ABS, EBS, TCS, hill hold control, TPMS, three-point seat belts for all seats, ISOFIX, and rear parking sensors. Skoda is also providing wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the higher trims.
