Skoda’s new electric SUV offers seven seats, a length of 4.87 metres, and up to 935 litres of luggage capacity.

Skoda has officially taken the wraps off its all-new flagship electric vehicle, the Peaq. It is engineered around the Volkswagen Group’s advanced MEB+ modular electric architecture.

In terms of physical proportions, the electric flagship measures 4,874 mm in length, 1,867 mm in width, and 1,664 mm in height, riding on an expansive 2,965 mm wheelbase. The vehicle offers highly practical storage configurations, featuring a 299-litre rear boot capacity that expands to a substantial 935 litres when the third-row seating is completely folded away, complemented by a convenient 37-litre frunk enclosure under the bonnet.

Visually, the vehicle embraces the Czech automaker's next-generation 'Modern Solid' design philosophy. The front profile is dominated by a sleek, gloss-black 'Tech Deck' fascia panel that blends into sharp, T-shaped Matrix LED headlight clusters and a prominent full-width horizontal LED light bar.

The side profile showcases flush-fitting pop-out door handles and aero-optimised alloy wheels designed to minimise drag. The rear architecture incorporates a premium dual-tone bumper assembly, distinct T-shaped LED tail lamps, a sharply stepped roof spoiler, and a roof-mounted shark-fin antenna.

Inside the cabin, the Peaq features a premium dual-tone dashboard layout focused on high-end digital integration. The driver's cockpit houses a signature two-spoke steering wheel, a crisp 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a massive 13.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment display.

The luxury quotient is elevated through a standard panoramic glass sunroof, dual wireless smartphone charging pads, a smartphone-linked digital key system, and an immersive 16-speaker Sonos premium audio installation. Discerning buyers can also opt for high-end optional upgrades, including an advanced head-up display system, massaging front seats complete with power-adjustable leg rests, and integrated foldable tray tables for the rear occupants.

Skoda is offering the electric SUV across three mechanical variants tailored to different range and performance requirements:

Peaq 60 (Base): Equipped with a 63 kWh battery pack delivering a driving range of up to 459 km on a single charge. It utilizes a single, rear-mounted electric motor that generates a maximum power output of 201 bhp.

Peaq 90 (Mid-tier): Features a larger 91 kWh battery pack that extends the claimed driving range to an impressive 647 km. This variant is driven by a more powerful rear-mounted electric motor producing 282 bhp.

Peaq 90x (Top-tier): Pairs the 91 kWh battery pack with a high-performance dual-motor, all-wheel-drive configuration. This setup develops a combined output of 295 bhp while maintaining a highly capable maximum driving range of 613 km.

To ensure swift long-distance travel, the vehicle supports high-capacity DC fast charging capabilities at rates of up to 199 kW, enabling rapid battery replenishment times.

The safety suite on the Skoda Peaq includes ten standard airbags distributed throughout the three-row cabin, a high-definition 360-degree surround-view camera system, an automated park assist module, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to actively prevent on-road collisions.
