The O Vision Concept will join Skoda's EV worldwide roadmap alongside the Enyaq iV and the Elroq.
Skoda Auto has formally teased the Vision O, its new electric concept car that will be unveiled at the IAA Mobility Show in Munich this September 2025. The concept is seen as a symbolic and strategic expression of Skoda's future in electric mobility, and as a homage to the brand's hundred-year history with estate cars. This is a huge step away from Skoda's SUV-dominated line-up that describes its current EV and ICE model offerings across the world.
The Vision O honours Skoda's historic estate car legacy dating from the 1920s. Estates such as the Octavia and Superb Estates have always fared well in Europe for their pragmatic nature, space, and value. As the estate class gradually fades away worldwide in favour of crossovers and SUVs, it is bold but niche for Skoda to venture into this shape stage in an EV guise.
Skoda CEO Klaus Zellmer described the Vision O as a "design study that will showcase the future direction of estate models with the impact of new technologies and sustainability."

The teaser image shows a streamlined, slab-sided shape in keeping with Skoda's new 'Modern Solid' design language, witnessed on the Enyaq and the Elroq. The direction of this design is simplicity, glowing trim, and a sharp front mask, in place of conventional grilles, by the Tech-Deck Face terminology used by Skoda.
Though official drivetrain information is not confirmed, the Vision O will be built on the Volkswagen Group's SSP (Scalable Systems Platform), in place of the current MEB and PPE platforms. If this happens, the Vision O would be among the first SSP-based concepts from Skoda and an industry milestone for the brand.
In contrast to the Enyaq and Elroq, both SUVs, Vision O takes a non-SUV estate shape, the brand's first electric concept in this class. The action marks a diversification strategy by the brand and seeks to hold on to customer segments that remain faithful to estate cars, especially in Europe.
Estate cars' lower ride height and better aerodynamics give them efficiency over SUVs, a crucial consideration for EV range optimisation.

Although Skoda has not confirmed what production car the Vision O will introduce, its under-5-metre length indicates it's more likely to be a next-generation Octavia Estate EV than a Superb Estate replacement. The firm also has not said if this would be a new dedicated EV model or a complete replacement for existing ICE/hybrid estate versions.
The O Vision will join Skoda's EV worldwide roadmap alongside the Enyaq iV and the Elroq. Both SUVs are more or less confirmed for India, but exact timelines and trims differ.
The Skoda Enyaq iV 80x will come to India with a 77 kWh battery, dual motors, and a power output of 261 bhp. It is based on VW's MEB platform and can be expected to cost ₹50–55 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the BYD Sealion 7, Tesla Model Y, and BMW iX1 LWB. There is also the Enyaq RS, a more performance-oriented dual-motor variant, which has been driven by Siddharth, also in the works for India.

Skoda Elroq, however, is likely to roll out in early 2026 with three battery choices (52, 59, 77 kWh) and a claimed over 560 km (WLTP) range for the highest variant. Priced between ₹40–45 lakh, the Elroq will compete with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, BYD Atto 3, and Mahindra XEV 9e.
