Solis, a brand under International Tractors Limited (ITL), has announced the launch of a new model, the Solis JP 975. The company says it has been developed from the ground up on an all-new platform which will be the basis for a range of other high-performance, intelligent, application-specific tractors. The Solis JP 975 promises comfort and category-leading features to improve productivity across various agricultural applications.
The Solis JP 975 is powered by the company’s own JP Tech 4-cylinder engine, which it says delivers up to 10 percent higher torque, peaking at 205 Nm, to be able to handle heavy-duty work. Solis also says it has developed the first 15F + 5R epicyclic transmission for this segment in India, with side-shift gears for smoother handling. A minimum of 5 optimal working speeds will be suitable for every major application.
A Smart Shuttle system has been implemented for quicker and smoother directional changes to improve operator efficiency in the field. The company has used a ladder-type chassis for stability, lower vibrations, and reduced noise.
Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said: “The launch of the advanced Solis JP 975 marks a decisive step in our mission to bring next-generation tractor technologies to Indian farmers. The JP 975 is the first model in our completely new JP series, designed on a future-ready platform that integrates intelligent engineering with the evolving needs of the progressive Indian farmer.”
Over the next year, the company plans to introduce other tractors built on this platform to cater to the different needs of Indian farmers.
