As part of this expansion strategy, MSI is introducing its India-manufactured Thin and Modern laptop series at competitive price points. Prospective buyers can purchase the Thin series starting at Rs 73,990, while the Modern series begins at a price of Rs 52,990.
"India has long been a key focus for MSI, and the country's growing demand for high-performance laptops has been integral to our decision to begin manufacturing locally. With its expanding tech ecosystem and rapidly evolving consumer base, India presents immense opportunities for growth. By beginning production of the Modern 14 and Thin 15 models to India, we are not only making MSI’s products more accessible but also reinforcing our commitment to delivering innovative technology," John Hung, NB General Manager, MSI India, said in a statement.
"We are confident that this will mark the beginning of a new era in MSI’s journey and help penetrate the Indian market further while enhancing operational efficiencies and contribute to India’s journey as a global leader in technology," John noted.
MSI is also strategically improving product accessibility across India by expanding its retail network. The company is significantly increasing its touchpoints, including establishing more dedicated laptop brand stores and extending product availability through offline retailers like Croma and Reliance Retail.
