Ahead of its launch on May 22, 2025, Tata Motors has released another teaser for the Altroz facelift. This new teaser now reveals a few more details about the upcoming version of Tata Motors’ premium hatchback.

The Altroz facelift will get 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels with a different design compared to the outgoing version and new seats (shared with the Punch EV). The previous teasers partially revealed the interior of the Altroz facelift where it showed that the dashboard of the facelifted version doesn’t have a change in the basic design but gets a new 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as a 10.25-inch virtual instrument cluster, which too can be found in many new Tata Motors’ models.
The hatchback will also get Tata Motors’ new two-spoke steering wheel, a single-pane sunroof and 360-degree camera. It is also likely to get connected car tech, a wireless charger, ventilated seats and more.

Design-wise, the Altroz will also have quite a few changes compared to the outgoing model. It will come with a new grille, new headlamps, new LED DRLs, new connected taillamps, new alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles and new bumpers.
Powertrain details haven’t been revealed yet but expect it to come with the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine, mated to either a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual or 6-speed/7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The Altroz facelift will continue to rival the Maruti Suzuki Baleno (₹6.70 - 9.92 lakh), Toyota Glanza (₹6.90 - 9.99 lakh) and Hyundai i20 (₹7.04 - 11.25 lakh). The Altroz facelift is expected to be priced between ₹7 - 12 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
