Tata Motors launched the Curvv.ev on August 7 and started pre-bookings for a token amount of ₹21,000.
Tata Motors launched the Curvv.ev in India last week, with prices starting at ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Now, the Indian auto giant has opened the order books for its new electric coupe SUV and it can be booked for a token amount of ₹21,000. Deliveries of the Curvv.ev will commence on August 23. Tata Motors dealerships have also started accepting pre-bookings for the Curvv ICE, which will launch in India on September 2.
The Curvv.ev is offered in three personas – Creative, Accomplished and Empowered. It has two powertrain options – Curvv.ev 45 and Curvv.ev 55. The Creative persona is only available with the 45 battery; similarly, the Empowered persona is only available with the 55 battery. Only the Accomplished persona is available with both battery options.
With the 45 powertrain, the Curvv.ev gets a 45 kWh battery pack and a single electric motor producing 148 bhp and 215 Nm. Tata Motors claims that the Curvv.ev 45 has a range of 502 km and can achieve 0-100 kmph in 9 seconds. With the 55 powertrain, the coupe SUV packs a 55 kWh battery and a single electric motor producing 165 bhp and 215 Nm. The Curvv.ev 55 has a claimed range of 585 km and can do the 0-199 kmph run in 8.6 seconds.
The Curvv.ev comes with multiple features like a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, ventilated seats, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-load functionality and a JBL-tuned audio system. Safety features include six airbags, ESC, all-wheel disc brakes and level 2 ADAS.

The Tata Curvv.ev prices range between ₹17.49 and 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Dealer sources tell us that the electric coupe SUV will have a waiting period of around two months, depending on the variant. The Curvv.ev rivals the MG ZS EV and the recently updated BYD Atto 3.
