The Tata Curvv.ev will launch first, followed by the Curvv ICE
The Tata Curvv coupe SUV will launch in India on August 7, 2024. Tata Motors’s new model will be one of the two new products that start the mass market SUV segment in India.
The Curvv was first showcased as an all-electric concept in 2022, followed by two internal combustion engine (ICE) concepts in 2023 and 2024. Tata Motors will follow a similar strategy with the production version of the Curvv as the all electric Curvv will come first, followed by the Curvv ICE.

While powertrain details about the electric Curvv remain scant, it is expected to have a range of around 500 km. As it will be based on the Acti.ev platform, it is expected to get two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configuration options. As per the brand's electric vehicle (EV) nomenclature, the electric Curvv will be called the Curvv.ev.
As per previous teasers, the Curvv.ev will get flush-fitting door handles (first for Tata Motors), shark fin antenna, multiple driving modes, digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters and Tata Motors’ new two-spoke steering wheel. Expect the Curvv.ev to also get a large infotainment touchscreen, 360-degree camera, air purifier and more.

The Tata Curvv will rival the upcoming Citroën Basalt which is also expected to launch in the coming months. For the Curvv.ev, there are no direct rivals currently. Expect the electric coupe SUV to be priced north of ₹20 lakh, which will see it face competition from the likes of the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming the Hyundai Creta EV.
