Tata Motors showcased a range of commercial vehicles and aggregates at EXCON 2025, targeting the construction, mining, and infrastructure sectors. Under the theme ‘Productivity Unleashed’, the company launched several new models, including the Prima 3540.K AutoShift tipper (its most powerful offering yet) marking entry into deep-mining applications.
The Prima 3540.K is powered by a Cummins 8.5-litre engine producing 371 bhp and 1,800 Nm torque, paired with a 12-speed automated manual transmission. Other launches included the Prima E.28K, a 28-tonne battery-electric tipper for zero-emission operations in shallow mining and bulk cargo movement, and the Signa 2820.TK CNG, the country’s first factory-fitted CNG tipper in the 28-tonne segment.
Also displayed were the 48-tonne Signa 4832.TK with a 32 m³ load body, the Prima 3532.TK with a 26 m³ body, and the battery-electric Prima E.55S prime mover with a claimed range of up to 350 km.
Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head – Trucks, Tata Motors, said the new vehicles are built for higher productivity and lower operating costs in demanding conditions, while the electric and CNG models support the shift towards sustainable operations.
In the aggregates segment, Tata Motors introduced 15 kVA and 35 kVA gensets alongside an expanded lineup of CEV BS V-compliant industrial engines, live axles, and trailer components. Vikram Agrawal, Head - Spares and Non-Vehicular Business, stated that these products focus on durability and uptime for construction equipment applications.
All exhibited vehicles are backed by the Sampoorna Seva 2.0 service package and the Fleet Edge telematics platform, which provide fleet management tools, predictive maintenance, and 24×7 roadside assistance through the company’s nationwide network.
