Tata Motors has officially revealed the facelifted Punch EV ahead of its launch scheduled on 20 February 2026. This will be the first significant update to the battery-powered Punch ever since it was first introduced in early 2024. As revealed in the latest image, the Punch.ev facelift gets subtle design updates over the current model.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Design Updates

The image released by Tata Motors reveals a redesigned front fascia featuring a completely sealed-off front grille flanked by slim LED daytime running lights (DRL) signatures. The connected LED DRL setup has been given a miss in the latest iteration. The triangular headlamp cluster is placed below housing a fog lamp.

Lower on the front bumper, the scuff plate has also been subtly redesigned. At the rear, the facelifted model is expected to get a new connected LED taillamp setup, similar to its ICE sibling launched a few months ago.The image also showcases a new Neon Yellow exterior colour scheme.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Expected Interior Updates

Although Tata hasn’t revealed the interiors of the facelifted Punch EV, we expect it to be similar to its combustion engine namesake. The biggest update will most likely be a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system that will run a new software as seen on the Nexon EV. Other features expected to make the cut are a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, a 6-speaker sound system, an auto-dimming IRVM, connected car technology and ambient lighting. A Level 2 ADAS suite is also likely to be included as part of the Punch EV facelift’s safety package.

Tata Punch EV Facelift: Expected Powertrain

The powertrain on the Tata Punch EV will most likely remain unchanged. Hence, it will continue with two battery pack options — 25 kWh and 35 kWh — with ARAI-claimed ranges of 265 km and 365 km respectively. The motor paired with the 25 kWh battery produces 81 bhp and 114 Nm of torque, while the 35 kWh battery pack is mated to a more powerful motor delivering 120 bhp and 190 Nm of torque.
