The 2024 Tata Punch has received a handful of feature additions aimed at enhancing convenience and comfort. One of the most notable changes is the introduction of a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system now supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering seamless smartphone integration for entertainment, navigation, and other functions.
Tata Motors has also added a wireless charging pad to the new Punch, allowing users to charge compatible smartphones on the go without the need for cables. To improve passenger comfort, rear AC vents have been included, addressing a common demand among compact SUV buyers. Additionally, the front row now benefits from an armrest for increased comfort during long drives.
Other notable upgrades include a USB Type-C charging port in the centre console, catering to the increasing prevalence of Type-C devices. These features collectively signify Tata's focus on keeping the Punch in line with modern customer expectations.
The 2024 Punch continues to be powered by the familiar 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine. This engine is paired with either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, providing customers with the flexibility to choose their preferred transmission style. The engine specifications remain unchanged, ensuring the same blend of power and efficiency that buyers have come to expect from this compact SUV.
In addition to the petrol variants, Tata Motors is also offering the Punch with a CNG powertrain option, available in seven different versions. This move aligns with the brand's strategy to provide cost-effective and eco-friendly alternatives for customers who seek the benefits of lower running costs associated with CNG vehicles.
