Tecno Pova 5 series is teased to launch soon in India.
An upcoming Tecno Pova smartphone has leaked in a live video online showcasing RGB LED lights on the back, similar to the Glyph LED Lights on the recently launched Nothing Phone 2. The video was shared online by popular tipster Ishan Agarwal on Twitter and showed an upcoming Tecno phone with LED lights on the back for notifications and calls.
Unlike the Nothing Phone's Glyph LED lights, the ones on the unreleased Tecno Pova phone are of the RGB type. Agarwal also shared that the software driving the phone is called Arc Interface. In the video, the RGB LED strip on the back of the phone changes colour as it receives a call.
Earlier today, the Tecno Pova 5 series was teased to launch soon in India, and the teaser has the same LED light design as in Agarwal's video.
Not much is currently known about this unnamed Tecno Pova smartphone, but there are rumours that it could launch as the Pova 5 Pro. That said, the Pova lineup is known for affordability, so the Arc Interface-powered Tecno Pova phone could follow suit.
It's not uncommon to see smartphone brands jump on the bandwagon of a particular feature that sets apart a phone. Nothing wasn't the first to do it with the Phone 1, but it was designed to enhance the overall look of the device.
Shortly after the Nothing Phone 2 launch, Mukul Sharma posted some renders of an upcoming Infinix smartphone that seemed to have LED lights on the back. Replying to Sharma's tweet, Carl Pei chuckled, "Time to get the lawyers ready".
