Top 15 Best-Selling Cars/ SUVs in October 2024

The Indian car market continues flourishing, driven by consumer demand for diverse models across the hatchback, SUV, and MPV segments. October 2024 saw an impressive performance across categories, with established players like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, and Mahindra dominating the top 15 best-selling cars.

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga emerged as the top-selling vehicle in October 2024, recording sales of 18,785 units. The MPV continues to gain traction among families due to its spaciousness, affordability, and fuel efficiency. Maruti Suzuki Swift secured the second position with 17,539 units sold, closely followed by the Hyundai Creta at 17,497 units. 

SUVs claimed a significant share of the top 15 list, with models like the Maruti Suzuki Brezza (16,565 units), Tata Punch (15,740 units), and Mahindra Scorpio (15,677 units) reflecting India's love for these versatile vehicles. 

Maruti Suzuki solidified its market leadership with seven out of the top 15 spots. Popular models like the Baleno (16,082 units), Fronx (16,419 units), Grand Vitara (14,083 units), and Wagon R (13,922 units demonstrate the brand’s strength across multiple segments, from hatchbacks to SUVs. 

Tata Motors showcased its growing market presence with the Tata Punch and Tata Nexon securing spots in the top 10. Despite intense competition, the Nexon managed 14,759 units, reflecting consumer trust in its build quality and safety features.
