Triumph continues to expand its entry-level lineup, with a new Bonneville 400 expected to make its official debut soon.
Spy shots of Triumph's new motorcycle have emerged on Instagram, and it could be the much awaited Bonneville 400. Shared by MotoBob, the images show a compact black machine undergoing testing on Indian roads, hinting at an entry level addition to the popular Bonneville family.
The bike in the spy photos adopts a classic build with twin shocks at the rear instead of a monoshock, giving it a traditional ride feel and stance. The visuals highlight spoked wheels paired with an axial brake caliper up front, which enhance the old school appeal.
Styling cues draw somewhat from the T100 and T120 models, including a round headlight, minimal bodywork, and a fuel tank shape that echoes the bigger Bonnevilles. The overall design keeps things simple and timeless, with chrome accents and a low slung profile that suits both city commutes and weekend rides.

Built on the proven 400 platform, the Baby Bonnie will most likely be powered by the 398.15 cc single-cylinder engine producing 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, at least in global markets. In India, it could use Triumph’s upcoming 350 cc unit.
With these spy shots generating buzz, we eagerly await official details. If launched as expected, it could strengthen Triumph's hold in the growing retro segment across markets like India, where demand for stylish, practical classics continues to rise.
