Primarily done to boost the sale of the RTR 160 2V and RTR 160 4V in the two states it sells handsomely
After launching the bikes nationwide a few days ago, TVS has announced slightly more attractive pricing for the Apache RTR 160 2V and Apache RTR 160 4V for Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Here’s how different the prices are:
Model | Special Pricing | Nationwide Pricing | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
Apache RTR 160 2V | ₹1,09,990 | ₹ 1,20,420 | ₹ 10,430 |
Apache RTR 160 4V | ₹ 1,19,999 | ₹ 1,24,870 | ₹ 4,871 |
TVS continues to see strong performance with its Apache motorcycle line-up. The company has averaged approximately 35,000 Apache sales per month in 2024. This is a trend that is expected to hold steady. Traditionally, a significant portion of these sales have come from the southern states especially Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The new "Blaze of Black" Apaches ditch bright colours for a complete blackout. The body panels, chassis and even the engine everything gets a glossy black finish. Red rim tapes add a sporty touch, which are the only contrasting element on the bikes. The logo on the tank and exhaust are blacked out too. Also, the logo is a 3D emblem instead of just a sticker. Overall it looks menacing in a complete black look.

Despite the discounted pricing, the Apache RTR 160 4V series remains a strong contender in the 160cc motorcycle segment. The all-black makeover of the "Blaze of Black" edition further enhances its appeal, making it an even more attractive option for riders seeking a stylish and powerful motorcycle.
