TVS Apache RTR 310 Launch Date Announced

TVS has sent us a 'Block Your Date' hinting that a new product will be launched next month. We assume that the invite is for the launch of the highly anticipated TVS Apache RTR 310 and that the event is in Bangkok, Thailand. TVS will also be launching a new electric scooter on August 23 in Dubai. 

Coming back to the Apache RTR 310, it will be a street fighter motorcycle based on the TVS Apache RR 310. While details regarding the bike are scarce, we got a glimpse of the bike when it was spotted during an advertisement shoot and some test mules were seen.

From those we could make out that the styling of the upcoming TVS bike will be very aggressive and sporty. It could also form the base for the styling of the next-generation TVS Apache RTR 200 4V as it desperately needs a visual overhaul. 

Powering the bike will be the same 312 cc, liquid-cooled engine delivering 33.5 bhp and 27.3 Nm of peak torque. The gear ratios might be revised to better suit the street bike character and it will feature a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The frame, suspension, and braking hardware will also be shared with the TVS Apache RR 310. We expect the new TVS Apache RTR 310 to be priced around Rs 2.50 lakh and it will rival the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R, Triumph Speed 400, and the BMW G 310 R.
