The upcoming TVS adventure bike was spotted at the 2025 Auto Expo before mysteriously disappearing.
A few months back, TVS showcased its all-new engine called the RTX D4 at the 2024 Moto Soul in Goa. While there were a lot of speculations on what motorcycle platform this new engine would debut, pictures of the upcoming TVS adventure bike undergoing testing were spotted. At the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show, few pics of the TVS Apache RTX 300 ADV bike were leaked but the motorcycle was never officially displayed at the TVS pavilion and the company officials even denied the existence of such a bike.
From the above leaked images we can confirm that the production-spec of TVS’s first ADV motorcycle is ready to hit the market. The styling of the bike is modern and it gets twin LED headlights, a large windscreen and a small beak. The golden USD fork adds visual mass to the front end and so does the muscular fuel tank. The TVS RTX 300 sports a large exhaust muffler, spelt seat and the subframe is finished in white, while the tail section is slim. From the spy pics, we can also see that the upcoming TVS ADV bike will sport a TFT screen and the switch gear is also similar to the TVS Apache RR 310, so expect features such as cruise control, multiple ride modes, traction control, navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
It will be powered by a 299 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of torque. The engine specs are very similar to the existing 310 cc motor from BMW, but the new engine according to TVS can be scaled up and we might also see a 400 cc and above displacement engine in the future. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and it will be interesting to see whether the Apache RTX 300 ADV gets quickshifter or not.
The ADV bike employs a trellis frame and is suspended on USD fork and monoshock. The TVS Apache RTX 300 isn’t a hardcored ADV bike like the Himalayan 450 as it runs on 19/17-inch alloy wheel setup, which is more road-friendly and is similar to the Suzuki V-Strom 250. Although a more off-road focused version is expected in its lifecycle. We expect the TVS Apache RTX 300 to make its India debut in India by March-April, 2025 and it could be priced around ₹2.40-2.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
