TVS Jupiter 110 Set for Launch on August 22

TVS is gearing up to launch the all-new Jupiter 110 on August 22, 2024. This highly anticipated launch marks a significant update to the popular scooter, which has been due for a refresh.

The TVS Jupiter 110 has been a best-seller in the Indian market, but it has faced stiff competition from Honda Activa. Despite its success, the Jupiter 110 has not received any major updates in a long time, making this launch a crucial one for TVS to maintain its market share.

The new TVS Jupiter 110 boasts a contemporary design. It features a horizontally mounted DRL that runs across the front panel, flanked by turn indicators. The side and tail sections have also been revamped, with LED lights adding a sleek and modern touch. We expect other changes to the design here and there but nothing completely different.

In terms of features, the TVS Jupiter 110 comes equipped with a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity, a mobile phone charger, an external fuel filler cap, and spacious boot space for 2 helmets. but now navigation is expected.  

The TVS Jupiter 110 is expected to continue with the existing 109.7 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, paired with a CVT. The engine currently generates 7.77 bhp and 8.8 Nm. Updates to the powertrain are also expected along with changes to suspension and brake.

The launch webcast is scheduled for August 22 at 12:05 pm. TVS has confirmed the launch, but details about the scooter are still under wraps. The current TVS Jupiter 110 is priced starting at Rs. 77,100, with the top-spec Classic trim costing Rs. 92,700 (ex-showroom). A price hike is likely with the introduction of the updated model. TVS will launch the new Jupiter in an array of colours, catering to diverse customer preferences.
