TVS Motor Company marked World Motorcycle Day with a coordinated nationwide ride that saw participation from over 1,000 riders across 17 cities, highlighting the growing culture of organised motorcycling in India. The initiative was designed to celebrate riding while reinforcing the importance of safety and responsible behaviour on public roads.
The ride brought together members of the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and the TVS Ronin community, reflecting the brand’s expanding rider ecosystem. Participants engaged in a shared experience built around their enthusiasm for motorcycling, while also promoting disciplined riding practices across urban and highway environments.

Bengaluru hosted the flagship ride, with over 100 riders participating in the event. The gathering included curated riding experiences and interactions with members of the AOG and TVS Ronin CULT communities, along with discussions involving experienced motorcyclists.
The company said the initiative focused on encouraging the use of protective riding gear, adherence to traffic regulations, and maintaining road etiquette. It also highlighted the need for responsible conduct and respect for local communities and public spaces during group rides.
The programme forms part of TVS Motor Company’s broader effort to foster a more structured and safety-conscious riding culture. As motorcycling communities continue to expand, manufacturers are increasingly positioning such engagements as a way to influence rider behaviour alongside building brand affinity.
The event also coincided with a milestone for the TVS Apache brand, which completes 20 years of its presence in the market. The company said the Apache portfolio now has a global customer base exceeding 6.5 million, while its riding community has grown to more than 500,000 registered members.
“Motorcycling today is about far more than travelling from one destination to another - it is a way of life shaped by freedom, discipline, responsibility and camaraderie. This year’s World Motorcycle Day celebration is especially meaningful as we continue to commemorate two decades of TVS Apache - a brand born from our racing DNA and today embraced by over 6 million customers globally," Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company, said in a statement.
Through the initiative, the company sought to strengthen the sense of community among riders while reinforcing the role of safety and responsibility in everyday motorcycling.
