TVS Motor Company Grows 17% As Sales Cross 4.82 Lakh Units In September

TVS Motor Company reported its wholesales for September 2026, and the two-wheeler giant’s domestic sales stood at 482,073 units last month, a 17 per cent increase year-on-year, when compared to 413,279 units sold in September 2025. The Hosur-based manufacturer’s total sales (domestic + export) stood at 672,790 units, registering a growth of 24 per cent per annum, against 541,064 units sold during the same month last year. 

Two-wheeler sales rose to 645,955 units in September this year, a 23 per cent hike y-o-y, over 523,923 units sold during September 2025. Electric two-wheelers continued to show a strong momentum with 65,799 units sold last month, against 31,266 units last year, a growth of 110 per cent. 

With respect to international sales, TVS reported its volumes grew by 48 per cent to 180,700 units in September 2026, against 122,108 units last year. International two-wheeler sales stood at 163,882 units, a hike of 48 per cent when compared to 110,644 units last year. Three-wheeler sales grew by 57 per cent to 26,835 units last month, up from 17,141 units during the same period last year. 

With respect to Q2 FY2027 (June - September 2026) volumes, TVS saw a 27 per cent growth in volume with 1.8 million two-wheelers sold, while three-wheeler sales rose by 47 per cent to 78,475 units. The company’s international business grew by 35 per cent to 5.39 lakh units in the last quarter, while electric two-wheeler sales jumped by a healthy 133 per cent to 1.86 lakh units in Q2 FY2027.
