The strong performance of ICE and EV products has helped TVS register record sales.
TVS Motor announced today that it has registered its highest-ever revenue and profits for Q2 performance. Total revenue generated in Q2 ending in September 2024 stood at ₹9,228 crore which is a 13% increase from ₹8,145 crore registered in the same time period last year. The Hosur-based manufacturer also clocked its highest ever PBT (profit before tax) in Q2 at ₹897 crore, a significant 24% jump compared to last year.

The positive numbers are the direct result of the sales performance of TVS Motor. The company registered its highest quarterly sale at 12.28 lakh units, a jump of 14 %. Scooter sales in particular have been impressive gaining 17% at 4.90 lakh units. Apart from a stellar show in the domestic market, exports for TVS jumped by 16% as it managed to ship out 2.39 lakhs in the above quarter. One segment where TVS has managed to perform really well the EV space.

Sales of its iQube range stood at 75,000 units, an impressive 31% growth, this can be credited to the introduction of new variants and expansion of the dealership network for its EVs. However, last month, Bajaj managed to overtake TVS to take second position in monthly sales behind Ola Electric. Half-year sales ending in September 2024 also grew by 15% as it sold 19,50,000 units. TVS will be banking on the festive season to further boost its sales and also the new TVS Jupiter 110 has been well received by scooter buyers.
