Despite missing out on a few features, the new TVS Radeon Base Edition is quite the competitively priced 110 cc commuter now.
After the new Drum Brake variant of the Raider 125, TVS has now introduced a new Base Edition with the Radeon 110 commuter. Priced at an attractive ₹59,880 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new TVS Radeon 110 is ₹21,514 more affordable than the top-spec Radeon 110 Digi Disc variant and ₹17,514 cheaper than the mid-spec Digi Drum variant.
The TVS Radeon 110 gets a 109.7 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces an economical 8.08 bhp and 8.7 Nm, thus making it an ideal city commuter. Meanwhile, the intuitive digi cluster, available as standard with the mid and top-spec Radeon 110, is missing here. Instead comes the dual-pod full analogue speedometer, which is neat and easy to look at. A C-type USB charging port on-board keeps matters modern and relevant, though. On the aesthetic front, the bronze-coloured engine casing and the full chrome metal exhaust are the only highlights.
A few features are missing here; however, with such a competitive asking price, the new TVS Radeon 110 Base Edition is now one of the most competitively priced commuter scooters in the range. It is even cheaper than the Honda Shine 100, which has a smaller 100 cc engine.
