The TVS RTS X was one of the most interesting concepts showcased at Auto Expo 2025.
TVS unveiled an innovative concept at the 2025 Auto Expo called the RTS X Supermoto. Right from its sharp front fascia, aggressive beak, down to its minimalist tail section – the new TVS RTS X presents a completely different proposition, something that we would want TVS to indulge us with in the future.
The TVS RTS X is powered by the recently unveiled 299.1 cc, single-cylinder. liquid-cooled engine and in the supermoto concept it delivers 34.5 bhp and 28.5 Nm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and quickshifter. TVS claims that it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, thus suggesting this will be quite a quick and fun to ride motorcycle. Sadly, it gets a small 8.2-litre fuel tank, so frequent fuel stops will be a recurrent issue.
As we can gauge from the image, the TVS RTS X looks quite light, and it actually is wherein the bike tips the scale at just 144 kg. Interestingly, the seat stands 875mm tall from the ground, coupled with the flat handlebar, the RTS X should have a nice commanding riding position. Beyond that, it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, and the trellis architecture rests on a 43 mm USD fork, and a monoshock.
While a production model remains unconfirmed, the TVS RTS X Supermoto offers an exciting glimpse into TVS's vision for future motorcycling. The concept further demonstrates TVS's engineering capabilities and forward-thinking approach to motorcycle design. Hopefully, we get to see the bike hit production soon.
