TVS Motor Company exported a total of 15.85 lakh units in FY2026, a growth of 33 percent over the previous fiscal.
TVS Motor Company ended FY 2025-26 on a strong note, reporting monthly sales of 519,358 units in March 2026, up 25 percent from 414,687 units in March 2025. The company said this helped it post its highest-ever sales in a financial year, with total FY26 sales rising 24 percent to 5.9 million units. It also recorded its best-ever quarter in Q4 FY26 at 1.6 million units.
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, March was a clear improvement across most segments. Total two-wheeler sales rose 25 percent to 498,134 units, while motorcycle sales increased 18 percent to 232,788 units and scooter sales grew 31 percent to 217,624 units. Electric vehicle sales also advanced 44 percent to 38,877 units, and three-wheeler sales jumped 46 percent to 21,224 units. International business contributed to the momentum as well, with sales up 25 percent to 141,443 units.

Compared with February 2026, however, total sales were marginally lower. TVS Motor had reported 529,308 units in February 2026, so March was down by 9,950 units, or 1.9 percent, month-on-month (MoM). Two-wheeler sales also slipped 1.9 percent sequentially to 498,134 units from 507,862 units in February, while exports declined 10.6 percent to 141,443 units from 158,268 units. Even so, domestic two-wheeler sales rose 1.9 percent MoM, and EV sales edged up 1.3 percent.
The March performance suggests broad-based demand rather than reliance on a single category. Scooters remained one of the stronger growth pockets, while motorcycles also delivered steady gains. The company’s international business was another important contributor through FY26, and the latest release said exports for the full year rose 33 percent to 15.85 lakh units. TVS Motor also noted that its three-wheeler business posted sharp annual growth, reinforcing the diversification of its sales base.

Taken together, the data shows a company that entered FY27 with strong annual momentum, even if March itself was slightly softer than February. That pattern is not unusual for the industry, where monthly volumes can move around depending on dispatch timing, inventory levels, and seasonal demand. Still, the YoY trend remains firmly positive, with March 2026 comfortably ahead of March 2025 across the headline numbers.
