Players can experience the first 90 minutes of Mirage for free.
Ubisoft has announced that its blockbuster open-world action title Assassin's Creed Mirage will launch on iPhone and iPad starting June 6. It marks the first time a main instalment in the long-running Assassin's Creed franchise will be playable on mobile devices.
Assassin's Creed Mirage was first revealed at Apple's iPhone 15 event last year, with an initial release window of early 2024. The game will now be available as a free download on the App Store for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max powered by A17 Pro SoC, and iPad models with the M1 chip or later.
Players can experience the first 90 minutes of Mirage for free before accessing the full game with an in-app purchase of $49.99 (₹4,173). The purchase will unlock the game across iPhone and iPad through universal purchase.
Set in 9th century Baghdad, Mirage puts players in control of young street thief Basim as he rises in the ranks of the Hidden Ones brotherhood. The mobile version has been adapted for touch controls but will also support gameplay with MFi controllers.
For fans who have already played Mirage on consoles and PCs since its October 2022 launch, Ubisoft says the mobile version will provide the same experience through support for cross-progression and cloud saves via Ubisoft Connect.
