Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette today announced its venture into the European market starting with Türkiye. As part of this announcement, the marque will also showcase its electric performance motorcycle, the F77, at the Motobike Istanbul 2024. It is being displayed at the motor show in collaboration with its distributing partner, K-RIDES.
K-RIDES is also its parent company Kabir Holding’s newly established venture into the world of two-wheelers. The company will be aligning a portfolio of motorcycles sourced from various manufacturers, Ultraviolette being one of them, and distribute them in Türkiye.
There’s no denying the fact that the Ultraviolette F77 has been an exciting electric motorcycle since day one. Built around a trellis chassis, it packs in a 10.3 kWh battery, which is the largest seen in the e2w segment in India. Paired with a 40 bhp electric motor, performance is quite impressive too for the UV F77 can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just under 3 seconds, and reach a top speed of 152 kmph. Range is another crucial factor in all EVs, and the UV F77 delivers on that front too for it can cover 307 km on a single charge (ARAI-claimed).

Its aviation-inspired design is another highlight and it impressed us so much that UV F77 won the the Bike Design of the Year at our 2024 Acko Drive TOTM Award. Recently, the marque also introduced its new fast-charging network called Supernova for F77 owners across India located strategically around important hot spots.
Speaking about its venture into Europe, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & co-founder, Ultraviolette recalled how at the time of launch, the F77 received interest from over 190 countries reflecting a strong global demand. “The F77’s display at the MotoBike Istanbul 2024 signifies a decisive leap forward in Ultraviolette’s global expansion strategy,” he concluded.
