Ultraviolette Automotive, the brand best known for its F-series electric motorcycles, has launched its first-ever electric scooter, called the Tesseract. The e-scooter is priced at ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India), however, the first 10,000 customers will get the Tesseract at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Pre-bookings for the e-scooter will begin on March 5 for a token amount of ₹999 and deliveries will begin in the first quarter of 2026.

The Tessaract, like all other Ultraviolette models, looks completely radical. It has a maxi-scooter influence when it comes to the design. It won’t be an Ultraviolette model if it doesn’t have some radical body panels. Ultraviolette also claims the Tesseract is the most advanced scooter in the world.

Ultraviolette’s electric scooter's top-spec variant, Tesseract 6, gets a range of up to 261 km (claimed) on a full charge from a 6 kWh battery pack. The base-spec Tesseract 3.5 has a 3.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 162 km, while the mid-spec Tesseract 5 has a claimed range of 220 km from its 5 kWh battery pack.

The Tesseract’s electric motor produces 20.11 bhp and Ultraviolette claims a top speed of 125 kmph and a 0-60 kmph time of 2.9 seconds. So Ultraviolette claims that one litre of fuel is around 12 units of electricity, so based on that, the Tesseract can do 500 kmpl.

As for storage, the Tesseract has a 34-litre boot and a 12-litre pannier. The console is a 7-inch touchscreen, larger than the ones available on the F77 motorcycles. The Tesseract also gets dual disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, traction control, dynamic stability control, dual LED projector headlamps, among others.
