And there’s a big issue that we can spot immediately.
The latest teaser has revealed a very important fact about the upcoming Honda Activa-E, one of the most anticipated launches from Honda this year. The electric scooter will be available with two removable battery packs.
This would make charging a more convenient affair and considering the teaser showed the batteries being swapped, it would make for seamless riding. However, with two battery packs under the seat, the storage space is instantly compromised. We had seen this on the Honda CUV e: shown at EICMA 2024, and we had hoped that Honda would not compromise on this front for the India e-scooter.

This is the fourth teaser from Honda showcasing various facets of its first electric scooter offering for India. The first one confirmed that the Honda Activa-E will get LED headlight, which in all probability will be mounted on the apron – deviating from the headlight cowl-mounted unit as seen in its ICE sibling, the OG Honda Activa. The instrument cluster has also been teased which looked like a TFT unit, and will have quite an array of connectivity features, like turn-by-turn navigation and much more.
Honda will unveil the Activa E in full glory next week on November 27. It will also mark the first electric scooter from any Japanese manufacturer in India. Suzuki is also slated to launch the all-electric Access soon, however, details about it is still under wraps. As with the Honda CUV:e, the upcoming Honda Activa Electric is slated to share a lot with it, check out the video below to know which ones.
